Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American singer-songwriter and popular actress. In her early years she was subjected to racial taunts by many people in America. Her confidence began to grow during the 9th grade, when she entered a school audition. She was praised by the judges for her vocal ability. She not only gained confidence because of the experience, but she also changed plans for her career. In 1992 she graduated with her diploma from the New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23 she made her debut at the Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films featuring You've Got Mail. In the Broadway version of the original show Spamalot She played the role of Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC the show, she received more recognition. As a well-known singer, she has also recorded songs and plays. Additionally, she works as a LGBT activist.
