Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her professional career as an actor on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In 1956, she got her first big break on Broadway along with Li'l abner. The same year, she released her first music album called It's Tina Time. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood playing Griselda Walden in God's little Acre a drama film released 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. When she was an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career between Broadway TV and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles as contrast to her image of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's made a name for herself as a director of popular TV shows like Supernatural. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 28th August 1965, her family moved to Toronto around the age of three. She spent her childhood there and her adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the lead role.
