Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie was the first woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. Her second place finish was at the 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media-star. The popular athlete is the first woman to win in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 as well as 2012. In 2013, and in 2017 she was the winner of her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie, along with both her parents and siblings were birthed at Reykjavik Iceland. From the age of a child, she was a sports and fitness enthusiast. In 2009, she participated in CrossFit competitions in California. Her first results were good. Annie Thorisdottir at the time of her 2021 birthday, is 31 years old. She stands 5'7 tall and weighs approximately 67 kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California in 2009. She performed quite well through the first couple of matches. She finished amongst in the top 10 among over 70. She was not able to claim any titles and finished 11th in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second and took home a silver medal in the same year. Following a long period of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance brought her the honor of being named. In 2012 Annie also won her first CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman athlete who won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 as well as an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's rise in fame as an athlete has made her the face of many sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. She also has her own Youtube channel, which is called "Annie" and has more than a thousand followers. It is the channel the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family and traveling.
